Privacy Policy
Effective July 4, 2026
Ask The Gaffer (“we,” “us”) is a football/soccer coaching assistant operated by Bryan Fossi. This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and how to reach us. It covers the marketing site and waitlist today, and the coaching product as it rolls out.
What we collect
- Waitlist details. When you join the waitlist we collect your name, email address, and a short description of what and at what level you coach. You provide these directly.
- Account & coaching data. If you create an account, we store your login details and the content you enter to run the product — your team, players, matches, training plans, and anything you type into the AI assistant.
- Usage & device data. Standard analytics such as pages viewed, approximate location derived from your IP address, browser/device type, and referring links.
- Cookies & the Meta Pixel. Our marketing pages load the Meta (Facebook) Pixel, which sets cookies and records page views and a “lead” event when you submit the waitlist form. See Cookies & tracking below.
How we use it
- To operate the waitlist and email you before and around launch.
- To provide, maintain, and improve the product and its AI features.
- To measure and improve our marketing, including through the Meta Pixel.
- To secure the service, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information.
Third parties we share it with
We use a small set of vendors to run the service. Each receives only what it needs:
- Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage (your account and coaching data).
- Vercel — application hosting and delivery.
- Resend — sending transactional and waitlist emails.
- Meta Platforms — the Meta Pixel for advertising and conversion measurement.
- Anthropic — powers the AI assistant; prompts and the coaching context you submit are processed to generate responses.
- Stripe — payment processing for paid plans (once billing is live). We do not store your full card details.
Cookies & tracking
The Meta Pixel uses cookies to attribute visits and the waitlist “lead” event to Meta advertising. You can limit this through your browser’s cookie controls and through your Meta ad preferences. Blocking these cookies does not stop you from joining the waitlist or using the site.
Data retention
We keep waitlist entries until launch and for a reasonable period after, or until you ask us to delete them. Account and coaching data is kept for as long as your account is active; when you close your account we delete or anonymize it within a reasonable period, except where we must retain records to meet legal or accounting obligations.
Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to remove you from the waitlist, at any time using the request form below. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any email.
Contact & data requests
Questions about this policy, or want to access, delete, or unsubscribe your data? Send a request below and we’ll follow up by email. We may update this policy as the product grows; we’ll change the effective date above when we do.
