Set-up
Two teams of 7 play keep-ball. A point is scored by completing 6 consecutive passes, or by dribbling into an end-zone cone gate. Restart from the team that conceded the point. Coach observes positioning, support angles, and decision-making.
Coaching points
- Third-man combinations break the press — don't just play square.
- If you're not on the ball, find a pocket of space and show for it; invisible players lose us possession.
- CAM and attacking mids: you must be the link — back to front, receive and turn.
Progressions
- Add a neutral player on each sideline to give the team in possession a numerical advantage.
- Restrict to two touches to force quicker ball movement and raise cognitive load.
