Set-up
Three throw-in patterns from defensive third, midfield, and attacking third. Then GK build-out: short to CB, then play through the lines. Walk through each pattern twice, then live at half-pace.
Coaching points
- Throw-ins are possession; treat them like a free kick, not a random restart
- Carson Kramer and Landon Beck — know your throw-in patterns by heart before Saturday
- GK build: if the press comes, don't panic — play to the free man, trust the shape
Progressions
- Add a passive press to the build-out to simulate opposition pressure
- Live build-out vs two active pressers who can score if they win it in the defensive third
