Positional Passing Patterns — Build from the Back

Set up the back four plus CDM and two CMs in their positional slots. Ball starts with the GK. Pattern: GK to CB, CB to fullback, fullback into CDM, CDM switches to far CB, far CB into far fullback. Rotate after 5 reps. No pressure — this is pattern recognition.

• CBs: show a side — don't give the GK a flat target
• CDM: drop angle to receive between the lines, not directly behind the CB
• Fullbacks: when you receive, your body is already facing forward

• Add a CM overlapping run as the fullback receives to introduce a third-man option
• Bring in a passive forward who becomes the end target to complete the pattern
