Positional Possession — Build from Back (7+GK v 4 Press)

Back four plus CDM plus two CMs build from GK against a four-man press. GK distributes short. Objective: work the ball past the halfway line in ten passes or fewer without losing it. Rotate pressing players every five minutes.

• GK on the ball — scan before distribution, communicate the press to the defenders
• CBs: angle your body to play forward at the first opportunity, not always sideways
• CDM: drop into the space between the CBs when they're pressed — give an easy out

• Increase the press to six players, simulating a high press from a two-striker system
• Add a condition: one long switch allowed per build — forces GK and CB to spot it
