Confidence Finishing — Free Shooting

Open shooting session. Players pick up balls from the halfway line and attack goal in turns — no restrictions on distance, angle, or foot. GKs encouraged to make saves and distribute quickly for a follow-up. Volume and enjoyment are the objective. If it's fun, it's right.

• Hit the target first, worry about power second
• GKs: this is not a rest — make proper saves and react to the follow-up
• Coach shouts nothing negative in this drill — compliment the good shots and move on from the bad

• Introduce a 'best goal' competition with players voting — builds atmosphere pre-match
• Challenge: can anyone chip the GK from outside the box? Encourages creativity
