Set-up
Three attacking free kick positions marked (25 yards central, 22 yards left of center, wide right). For each: one delivery routine installed (direct, layoff-and-shoot, dummy run). Then switch — defending unit sets wall and defends each position. GK organizes the wall; coach listens.
Coaching points
- Aiden: you set the wall, then you get your line — you can't do both at once, so set it fast and move
- Wall players: arms crossed, bodies tight, nobody flinching before the ball is struck
- Attacking free kicks: one player stands over it — he decides direct or layoff based on wall position
Progressions
- Add a runner from the wall who peels on the strike to attack the rebound
- Defending unit practices stepping the wall on the signal — offside trap option from a free kick
