Transition Game — Win It and Go

Two teams of five. Two small goals at each end. Normal game — but the emphasis is on what happens the instant possession changes. Coach freezes play twice to show the picture; otherwise let it run.

• Lose the ball? First job is to win it back, right here, right now
• Win the ball? Eyes up immediately — don't look down and dribble
• Get behind the ball quickly when you lose it; don't chase ahead of it

• Defending team scores a bonus point if they win the ball and score within five seconds
• Neutral player always joins the team in possession — transitions become harder to manage
